Meeting with Maggy Barankitse

Recently a delegation of Unity Foundation had the opportunity and honour to meet Maggy Barankitse from Maison Shalom in Ruyigi-Burundi who was staying in Luxembourg on invitation of the NGO BRIDDERLECH DEELEN.

Mrs. Barankitse is a lively woman who fights to protect children from the ravages of war and AIDS in her country which is Burundi.
Her dream is to offer thousands of children a better future and she has put her life into the service for this noble cause. She has implemented many programs and projects like a childcare center, the establishment of siblings and the construction of their houses, the resettlement and reintegration of children into their families, generating jobs and income, such the garage of the angels, the city of angels , a cinema etc. Mrs. Barankitse was awarded with many prizes in the world and her work is regognized all over the planet.
